Submissions open Monday July 13 on the draft Waitemat\u0101 Local Board Plan. This is the high level plan that indicates what the Local Board will focus on, advocate for and ultimately fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a lot to unpack in the document, but one thing that popped out is that there is further commitment to upgrade parks and playgrounds around the CBD, while the long promised\/stalled upgrade to Outhwaite Park is once again left off the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
