Auckland’s Climate Action Framework

Auckland has developed a climate action

In June 2019 Auckland declared a climate emergency to signal commitment to putting climate change at the front and centre of decision making. What does that really mean?

Auckland’s climate is changing, and we need a plan that coordinates our actions to reduce emissions and increases our resilience to climate change.

We have less than a decade to make significant change or we’ll risk widespread social, cultural, environmental and economic disaster.

The proposed framework affects everyone in a number of ways. Please consider taking the time to submit on this framework. Does it go too far? Does it go far enough?
